Dear nieto,

Obviously, it is good news that your FibroScan reading has reduced from 11.6 to 6 within a 2-month period.

If you have made some lifestyle improvements, whether it be: reducing alcohol consumption; improving your diet; increasing exercise, etc., since the first reading, then 'yes' your liver will have become healthier, which is then reflected in the lower reading.

If you feel that this is the case, then you should be very pleased with yourself, and now continue with this improved lifestyle for your liver to remain in good health.

Please feel free to contact me on the Helpline number: 0800 652 7330

All good wishes to you,

Kind regards,

I have been told that if you eat beforehand or there's inflammation in the liver it can 'overestimate' the stiffness by a bit
