Sorry read my earlier text didn’t make sense

Hi, I had an ultrasound in Dec which pin pointed a fatty liver, all my bloods are ok apart from my ELF which has come back at 14! I spoke with my GP and a Liver Trust nurse who were both reassuring and said that sometimes you can get one blood test that isn’t a true reading.
I’ve tried to relax a bit since then and I’m just doing what I can by eating healthily and following a clean diet whilst waiting for a referral to see hepatology.
Good luck and try not to worry.
Hello Begoo and a warm welcome to you.
It can sound too easy to ask ourselves to find a way to relax when we feel very stressed. However, our liver may thank us if we can reduce our stress and anxiety as much as we can.
This blog has some nice ideas of things we can do to help ourselves cope with stress and anxiety (for example, while we wait for appointments and news about our treatment progress):

With the best wishes.
