Thank you all for your advice and support. I ended up calling 111 early hours Monday morning and they sent an ambulance out gor my partner. He had been confused for a full 3 days by hhis point and getting worse. After 22 hours in A&E admitted to acute medical ward and they started treating him for sepsis and think the ascitic fluid could have been infected, he's had these episodes since the drain, they don't think it's HE at the minute because he goes rigid and paralysed like during them so going to have MRI too, also having camera down to see what's going on. He's on 3 lots of antibiotics and vitamin bags and vit k injections and finally came out of his confusion this afternoon 7 days in all. He seems to havexan appetite and his mobility seems better thus afternoon too. Don't want to get my hopes up but it's the most normal he's been since this nightmare began. Just wanted to thank you all gor being there when I needed hope and support, everything you shared with us has got us this far ❤️ xxx

Thank you so much. I might be being a bit premature and it's too early to say yet. He only came out of the confusion a few hours ago, and not even sure if sepsis and sepsis seizure diagnosis is good or not, but just to have someone looking after him properly, knowing he's being treated and I'm not going to lie having a good night's sleep without having one eye open has made such difference already xxxx thank you so much for your kind words and good advice. Xxx

I am glad he’s doing better. I remember your first post and I feel like you have been a little let down. He needed to be seen much sooner as if I remember his appointment wasn’t until May. I hope you now get the support you need. In the mean time, be pushy!
