I have found a lovely non alcoholic red wine and wondered is it still safe to drink if I have been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis? ( caused by medication)

I'm not 100% sure how people on this page approach non alcoholic drinks, I'm not here to criticise you either way, we all have different ways of trying to help ourselves towards a healthier future as some people will say even if it's got 0.05 percentage of alcohol and if any percentage of alcohol affects your circumstances. I'm sober 12 + years and after being a chronic alcoholic I didn't want to be associated with drinking anymore, i have no interest in buying a drink that's associated with the " real" thing, I've stuck to Coca-Cola, coffee, tea, or blackcurrant juice or just sparkling water and occasionally fresh orange juice, but in your case you have a different case scenario, obviously I'm not medically qualified and your condition isn't something I'm that I can pass expertise advice on, I have tried various diluted juices on my mission to recovery, but I have found something that keeps me sober and happy.
I'm not giving you any lectures and I hope your health continues to stay as best as possible I'm sure your post will generate plenty of other replies, and I wish you well best of luck 😊
Thank you so much. I think I’ll stick to Diet Coke And tea
You have to consult with your doctor not because of the alcohol content, which can be practically 0, but because of other issues such as sugar content. My doctor is happier when I don't drink drinks with sugar content and obviously no alcohol.
I drink it and I'm the same as you, re diagnosis. My consultant was fine with it, although he did say if I had needed a transplant (which I don't) sometimes doctors frown upon even the non alcohol drinks x
