Hi, I was diagnosed with CP around 5 year ago , think I had longer , I waited forever to see specialist & when I finally did he told me that I had a blockage in a bile duct he thought he couldn't remove but would admit me . He never did n then covid ! During covid nooone would see me . I lost three stone I was in agony & could get no help . I then had a ct scan which showed a blood clot , portol hypertension & extensive varacies ! I wasn't treated .!!Then in 2021 I went away with partner&grandaughter . I'm from leigh lancs we went to Bedfordshire. Oh I was ill but was determined to go . The eve before travelling I vomited blood! In the sink quite a bit . It's scared me but I wanted to go away . Thought I'd be ignored again ! Anyhow bleeding went worse and was coming from both ends . My granddaughter had noticed I told her if I comit again I'll get help . Next minute washing up bowl almost full . I told my ,then , partner he got the ambulance crew down from the show ground & I was dashed away blues & twos . Had a near fatal bleed . Now the Dr their he was lovely I trusted him so much , still do
Well I emailed my specialist & told him that he had left me to die ! He had !
He was upset n sent a lengthy quite nast email back ... anyhow
Dr Jay at Bedford agreed to continue to treat me . Every month I went to Bedford 3 hours drive . I had banding every month for 8 month! I eventually had a meeting with mcr n agreed to go back .
He swore I didn't have chirrosis & all this wax brought on by my CP complications ( why did I have those) this went on ages conflicting. Eventually Dr Jay stopped emailing, I think mcr complained ...anyhow .. so now 2022,23 & into 24 I'm told no chirrosis . Fibro scans confirmed this n lft test good. Ct scans had already found a blood clot & I was having thinners & reg endoscopies to check vsracies ! In June my bloods went crazy my lft through the roof . Two reading at 400 ..then mu blood sugars went to 100 I was admitted to wigan . Ct scan , mri scan.
Dr said I had NASH ...also now on insulin ( this is secondary to CP) discharged saw my Dr at mcr who dismissed what this Dr had said , oh I started with acities which I havnt had in the 3 year since the bleed.
He said the Dr had wigan had plucked this from the Air ?? What !
Right , I then had another fibro which was a low reading & no chirrosis . I was thrilled ( for years one of my fears has been chirrosis ) having nursed a ex n saw my brother in law suffer & die . Its so cruel n painful !
Last week I get app with hepetology specialist who blurtd out " well your chirrosis is ... id blocked out . I just said I don't have that. Oh he was dver so sorry . He said he thouggt I knew . He proceeds to show me my liver on CT scan n it's shriveled n quite small ! So ?? What's going on .( I thought all along even though its through cp I still have liver problems no matter how its dressed up ) wait for it ,he explains to me a little different from the Dr that let me down . He told me I have a clot . Told him I know . He says No this is a very old clot that's been their a long time and caused this blockage ! It has made itself at home & made channels for my blood to go through ! Hence varacies ! Well you can bet that's the clot that He didn't treat 3 year ago that almost killed then . He then points out the false reading on fibro says I probably had acities ...Ah I didn't coz they checked that day with machine.
I was scared n felt sick I said can a have a new liver
He replied you may need one .
Would I have a biopsy to make it clear once & for all because if I don't have chirrosis I can't have a liver ? He said they would go through my neck vein to get sample ,however, the other specialist said any procedure would be dangerous coz of varacies ! I'm terrified I don't know what's going on . Why the flare up . I havnt drank for 20 years don't smoke ..I don't get it & don't know what to do . Apparently chirrosis is very rare with CP however as I said it's still same symbols.
They was going to remove my gallbladder,early days, then didn't said I'd no stones . In fact I had 5 big ones that have now calcified ! Now they can't remove gallbladder as it's strachey to liver ! Honestly I believe it has been total neglext from the start. Oh I also have a very enlarged splien !
Any advice .. I keep thinking am I on my way out .

Lesion of the liver!!! I’m worried about this has anyone had lesion of the liver ? 
Dr. Hid diagnosis of fatty liver...blamed pain on fibromyalgia. Found out by accident.
Pancreatitis
