I've received all the covid vaccines since 2021, spring and winter, I'm living in Scotland , they have now changed who's entitled, over 65s or anyone 18 or over with certain health conditions.
I have PBC , am I included in the health conditions, or has it changed?, going by the outline description of my illness I think I should .
Can someone advise please
Thanks 😊

Potentially with regards to the liver disease angle - auto immune things are covered if receiving treatment with immune suppressants. You'll get a letter inviting you if you are eligible and if you don't then maybe ask your GP about it. Scottish Eligibility Guidance at:- nhsinform.scot/covid-19-vac...
I (51, hubbies carer) have received an invite for my flu vaccine but no mention of Covid one. Hubby who was previously eligible due to cirrhosis, defunct spleen and other issues hasn't yet received an invite though he'll now be eligible as a transplant recipient. ( A wee note to other new transplantees .......... you can't have these jabs until you are off your initial post op. antibiotics and anti-fungal usual at 3 months post transplant. We asked at clinic last time and can't receive these jabs till off co-trimoxazole and fluconazole ).
I have always had to get in touch with the NHS inform helpline to request the spring booster, when I explain what I have , they organise an appointment for me, but I usually get invited for winter vaccines, My condition hasn't changed, I'm on same meds , so it is a bit of pain that I have to keep constantly requesting these vaccines,.
My consultant has also sent supporting emails/letters
if you are within the criteria you should automatically receive an invitation to book your Covid vaccine. I’m under 65 diagnosed with AIH I have my vaccination booked in October.
I have not been notified of a COVID jab yet and I am definitely elligible, they always notify me as I am immuno suppressed. I have been notified of the flu jab though.
