I've recently been diagnosed with Helicobacter pylori infection and I'm exploring treatment options. I'm curious to know what the current recommended treatments are for this infection. Are antibiotics typically prescribed, and if so, what are the common ones used?
Additionally, I've heard about natural remedies and dietary changes that might help. Has anyone here tried these approaches, and what were your experiences?
I'm also interested in any insights into the duration of treatment and what to expect during the process. Are there specific considerations I should keep in mind, such as potential side effects or factors that might affect treatment effectiveness?
Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

I was treated for this bug after a stomach rupture, it was many years ago though, if I remember correctly I had a week's worth of antibiotics, unfortunately they gave me the runs, and only managed to do 5 days worth of treatment, I think it was more of a preventative type of medication and to stop any further problems with my gut, never tried alternative natural cures, but I've always had a dodgy stomach for years, best of luck!
In 2021 I had variceal bleeds, and during the diagnostic process, was found to have Helicobacter Pylori infection. Was given a course of antibiotics (can't remember the name) and the next blood test revealed the infection was gone. I had no issues with the antibiotics at all. For me, it was all very easy.
