Liver fibrosis

Recently drug was approved by fda for reducing liver fibrosis .Is any body aware of this drug or anybody has experience using it

If you are referring to resmetirom; yes, I read the article. Seems promising. No experience as I have no diagnosis yet.

I have read what is available to read, so not much. But it does sound promising. No experience taking it however.

Hi, Saw my consultant yesterday, Spoke to him about the above new drug, Resmetiron ( Rezdiffa)) He said its not available yet in the UK, But if/when it is I would be able to have it. He also said a trial I was on for 6 mths last yr is now being tested and if it works it will help stop/ slow down anymore scaring on the liver.. So fingers crossed on both accounts.

It was called RESUS Trial, a drugs trial to help stop/slow down scaring, it was for 6 mths. Then I did a one day trial for genetics/Hereditary. Don't know the outcome of that yet either ..
