Do my finger nails resemble terry's nails?

I dont know how long my fingers have looked like this i only noticed them because my mother had liver cirrosis and passed away a few years ago. She was a heavy alcohol drinker along with otc medicines like tylenol and ibuprofen. I have developed a severe health anxiety over this. Drinking alcohol runs heavy in my family and i drank fairly heavy off and on since i was 16 up till i was 24. I went to the emergency room a few years ago because i thought i had yellowing beginning in the whites of my eyes. The doctor there seemed to be upset because obviously he didnt see it as an emergency but i needed peace of mind so they ran blood work and everything came back just fine. My anxiety is getting the best of me and i really dont have any other symptoms. I have a healthy appetite and my energy levels are great. Im just really afraid of going out like my mother did. I need opinions, my doctor did see my hands a year ago because i notice they turn red fairly easily with the heat and cold and the effects of gravity. I will be going to the doctor as soon as i can get insurance so i can get more bloodwork and more understanding of this. Thanks to anyone who reaches out! Please be gentle with me my anxiety cant take much more lol.

Pitrat, I can't see the photo, but I do recognise anxiety. You know you have it and it's understandable. It so easily gets out of control. You know my Mum passed 26 years ago now but she wasted so time worrying about cancer, years and years wasted. She passed at an older age of something utterly different tat had never vrossed her mind.

I think about all those wasted years because I am doing the same now. :(

Checking my hands and nails against online photos. I even paused the screen while watching Bargain Hunt to check one of the expert's nails to remind myself what healty nails look like! That's just crazy isn't it! But anxiety gets us like that!

You have had blood tests done, had your hands looked at. It's so unlikely that there is a problem. If you can, try to combat the anxiety - do a little mindful meditation - just a few minutes regularly. Some aware, deep breathing for just a couple of minutes will help. Let your shoulders sink - I bet they are up around your ears!

Eat well, as little processed as you can, rest, sleep well, go for your annual blood tests. Go for a daily walk daily in greenery. Maybe find someone to talk to about it if you can. A stranger, there are help lines.

Try to put this anxiety in its place! Don't let it rob you of any time. xx Good Luck.
