Hi!

I have cirrhosis. Only a couple of light nosebleeds that happened when I bent down to get something off floor. Otherwise wouldn't have known it was happening
One major issue with nose bleeds and cirrhosis is that no matter the cause - out of the blue, nose knock or blowing your nose - is difficulty in stopping the bleed due to blood clotting problems, low platelet count.
Prior to my hubbies cirrhosis diagnosis he was getting mega nose bleeds out of the blue and since having an n/g tube fitted in January of this year he's still experiencing on and off nose bleeds.
As with any unexpected bleeding you should get checked out by your GP or in the case of an uncontrollable bleed the A and E.

hi my first bleed was thro a tiny scab up my nostril which came off and bleed so bad for 2 weeks it just would not heal, started for days just pouring out! One year later it’s now just really if I blow it but every now and then a little trickle down my face out of the blue but nothing to bad x
I to had nose bleed for 2weeks. Lots of blood transfusions. Finally the ENTDr. Went in and cauterized.what he could to stop it. Now the blood clots are massive and I still bleed a little.
I’ve had them for years the majority I don’t know I’ve had until next time I pull my hankerchief out and it’s covered in blood or there’s blood on it. Never asked why always have two hanky’s with me. All the best.

Mine just tend to be out of the blue. One minute I'm fine, the next the room resembles a murder scene lol. Oddly enough it's been worse since the bleed point was cauterised. Takes ages to heal properly and I have to be so careful.
