maybe I don’t need to be on this page, but thought I’d put the question out there.
Up until recently my husband’s blood test results have always been pretty good. But around the time he was diagnosed with chronic degenerative spinal disease, his liver results have gone a bit awry. However, at the last tests his gamma GT was 34iuL (10-71), whereas before that it was 88! So good news there.
His serum albumin is 32gl (35-50). Serum globulin is 40gl (20-34).
And his recent ELF was borderline at 9.8 (7.7-9.8). So his GP has referred him for a fibroscan for moderate liver fibrosis.
Does inflammation (I.e. arthritis) affect enzyme levels and should I be worried? Well, not “should be”, I am, as I’m a natural born worrier.
oh, my husband is 78.
