Fibroscan

Would anyone be able to advise how I go about getting a fibroscan in Wales please? I haven't drunk now for a month but I have been a heavy drinker for over 20 yrs. I'm having alot of symptoms.. although previously my alt blood tests have been ok but I can't believe they are correct

I would think that you will have to go privately as waiting times and appointments are horrendous to get in Wales , Im in North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and its a nightmare .

I'm in South Wales, Newport, near Cardiff. Have had a couple of Fibroscans, organised by my liver team very promptly. I have a brilliant local specialist. If you are in my area, let me know and I will send you an email contact with my liver team. Best wishes

I just saw my GP and unsurprisingly she was putting me forward for a regular liver scan with a waiting list of 6 months ... I'm based in Bridgend I've found a place privately not too far but it's not the fibro scan. If you could send me the details that would be great .. thank you
