Carvedilol and Urso bowl changes

I’ve been on cavedilol medication since May 2023 and Urso since 2022, up until a few weeks ago I’ve suffered a lot of dioreah which started when at the same time when when the Dr prescribed me ferris sulphate for low iron. I know this has a lot of gastric issue so stopped that a week ago. I still have bouts of dioreah or loose stool and was wondering if the other medication is the cause. I read both can cause these issues.

Anyone else had similar experiences?

I have been on the same medications as you for about the same amount of time. Frequent and loose bowel movements very soon after eating. This has led to poor food absorption and anemia. Iron supplements caused stomach cramps.Doctors not much help except iron infusion for the anemia.

Best wishes,

Wayne

Thanks for the reply Wayne. It gives me some comfort knowing the conversation I need to have with my GP next week
