Hi, I had mildly elevated ALT in January so stopped drinking alcohol. It lowered but then went up to 100 with raised AST also. Gradually both went down to normal and Nils blood test and ultrasound were normal. However, ALT has gone back up to 72 and ALT 64. My GP is stumped. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thank you

Yes I had elevated Alat , they went down again , but still a bit elevated. Suddenly they got very high. I got examined with ex liver biopsi and other blood test. That led to the diagnosis Autoimmun liver disease.
Hope your blood samples will be normal again. There are many reasons to elevated liver enzymes.
