Hi everyone, so my partner Nick has now stopped drinking. Its been 2 weeks and he is doing well. The thing is, he seems very tired which was not like him a few months ago. He has also had this problem with urgency to pee, or overactive bladder.
He had his MRI scan last week as the consultant told him that there is a lesion on the left lobe of his liver and we are now so scared. The consultant secretary called today to book him in to see dr on Monday and Nick is now even more concerned that dr is calling him in quickly because he has cancer. He has developed a dry cough these past few days and says that he thinks he can taste blood in the back of his throat. I am so worried and am watching him all the time for any signs of anything. Ive been through similar 10 years ago when my late husband was diagnosed with Non hodgkins lymphoma. The stress of trying to support someone to stay alive is immense and watchinh him die gave me PTSD.
Regarding Nicks symptoms though... what are anyones thoughts. should i be concerned about his tiredness and cough? Thanks for the support everyone.
