Most know my Story about my wife, how she went from a Fatty liver diagnosis in Oct of 2020 to dead from Renal Failure in Jan of 2023.
One thing, that is still being argued. And drives me nuts since the Biopsies showed NASH F1. She did have a compression of her IVC and Portal. Which cleared on its own in the same month.
Dopplers of Her liver done in Sept of 2021 and November of 2022 showed her Portal Vein as being normal with Peak flows of 21-56 cm/s which is perfectly normal.
GI scans showed no Varicies. But a friable mucosal lining.
On one scan the says Friable Gastral Mucoscal lining due to Portal Hypertension. But the portal test showed a normal Portal Vein with normal Portal pressure.
Is anyone aware of what else can cause a Friable Mucosal Lining. I have been googling around with out much luck. She did have bad acid one was from her Sliding Hital Hernia, but she also had bile reflux? Could that be the cause of the friable mucosal lining in the absense of portal hypertension?
