Hi there me again😊

Trying to find out as much as I can to help my hubby.

Can anyone recommend any books etc for people with NASH.

Trying to get as much info as possible to give him the best chance.

Have they said it's NASH (Non Alcoholic Steato Hepatitis) i.e.the more agressive form of non alcohol related fatty liver disease which has caused hubbies issues?

The BLT website has a page all about NAFLD/NASH and a downloadable leaflet/brochure about diet etc.

However, you'd be best chasing up a referral to a liver specialist dietician to help with deciding the best dietary plan for hubby as there are differing dietary needs when fatty liver AND decompensated cirrhosis are present.

As I said, before he leaves hospital try and get a dietician appointment because dietary requirements for NASH and decompensated cirrhosis can differ.

I’ve just spoken to the nurse to clarify and it is NASH xx
