Hi love.It seems its to do with your erratic blood pressure, and you did suffer low blood pressure before,if I remember rightly?. Obviously beta blockers are meant to lower blood pressure. I wondered if they may have offered an alternative, but obviously not🙄.

Having low blood pressure can be just as dangerous as high blood pressure.

So the soft food situation 🙄.

Is this so that no sharp or crunchy food could aggrevate the varices and cause them to rupture?. Or am I making it sound very simple? Or is there more to it? Ive had all sizes of varices, over a 4 and a half years, several lots banded. Still have some.

Thats never been mentioned by my liver dietician

Just wondering if you have had or got an appointment for an endoscopy, so they know what size varices are. I'm assuming you have had one.

Bet your fed up with it??

Doesn't sound like much progress?

As for your dietician appointment in September, thats not bad love.....

My ultrasound is now 6 month late ,and my AFP bloods🙄

Its enough to make you want a chocolate éclair isn't it😆

Take care love.

First thanks for making me smile. As l understand it the soft food is indeed incase l open the varaces!as this is something l hadn't even thought of it felt today like russian roulette but with food 😂had endoscopy 3weeks ago varices are present and red under pressure whatever that means hence the.b.b

Jokes aside l am fed up hate not being in control and thank goodness for this forum a place to say how l feel without feeling stupid.and as my old dad would say "learning on the job"from you guys thanks cris

Don't ever feel stupid love...we are all learning....some folk may know more, but still learning!!!Everyday a school day 😀...although doesn't quite feel like it at 51😆.

I fully understand the not feeling in control part....doesn't help when appointments are so far away, and the waiting....what seems forever.

So they didn't band any varices?.

I suppose roll on seeing the dietician.....hope fully that will help.

Take care love.

Chris
