l got decompensated liver waiting on transplant, does any one a rash on them its so itchy on my stomach legs arms my legs swelled up and cant stop itching them what cream should i try if any one has the same thing

When were you last seen in transplant clinic and do the co-ordinators know of this current symptom?

next visit is 28 June just come out of hospital few days ago they did not seem that bothered about it just give me some powder in water to drink which done nothing is it common with cirrhosis

yes it’s common if your bullirubin is elevated. Only thing that helped for me for long periods of time is Rifampicin. Moisturising cream with a high menthol content helps too.

Are you currently on Colestyramine?

hi there

antihistamines help me I use benedryl acrivastine, which you can get at any supermarket as well as a menthol based cream to eleviate the itch sometimes as the menthol dulls the itch and cools the skin eg Vicks Vapor rub. I also use a menthol stick!

Also if it gets so bad I run a cold shower. Good luck!
