Shy problem

Me farwa from Pakistan age 30 I have obscess near anus I feel shy to tell anybody I feel shy to exam the Dr. help me what to do

Hi Ikram, you are on the wrong forum for that particular issue - this is a liver health forum.

Regardless of that you DO need to see your doctor to get this treated. You don't have anything that a doctor hasn't seen before so don't be embarassed and go and get it sorted out.

Hi Ikram,Best go see your GP as a starting point. I had similar embarasing issue after hepatologist cut me inside during a colonoscopy. Was a bit embarrassed and difficult to explain, but ended up with anaerobic bacterial infection that went untreated. Then came PR bleeding and huge build ups and swelling in and around the groin. Just any weak point the poisonous pus and blood could accumulate before breaking free (bursting). I've now had surgery 3 times as the ER suspected Necrotising Facitiis / Fournier' (gangrene of the groin) which if treated has 35% survival rate if treated correctly. Even less if liver or other organ problems. Thats what my whole last two years has been consumed by. Never mind the cirrhosis issues (20.3kps last fibroscan). I was to worried about cirrhosiss to get embarrassing thing like a boil/abcess in the groin checked out.

If i had of got it checked as soon as it appeared a simple course of antibiotics would probably of sorted it. Because it wasn't addressed properly I have had the surgery and also been on far too many antibitics. Most of which really kick my liver to bits.

So as AyrshireK advises. Go see your Doctor Asap or Casualty. Even if you don't have a Gp there are many walk in clinic sessions.

Hi Ikram, It sounds like a minor problem called a boil. Soaking in warm water can open the abscess and allow to drain. It can be painful because of pressure in the area. Nothing to be embarrassed about and very common. See doctor if possible as they may prescribe antibiotic cream. Keep the area dry and clean.
