Pancreatitis

My doctor is sending me for a blood test for a liver and pancreatitis because of the pains in my stomach and chest which goes right through to my back and non stop urination I'm living on a diet of fat free yogurts with no added sugar.

Hi, I've been in the same boat so firstly my empathy but I also wanted to say and I hope this will help, however, fat free yogurts still contain tiny amounts of fat in the skimmed milk. They are not entirely fat free at least that is my understanding. I found out that once the penny had dropped with me and I took out completely all dairy products along with fats and oils that my symptoms were more manageable. Of course with not taking any fats whatsoever it has left me open to the possibilty of fat soluble vitamin deficiencies so will be a bit tricky to decide if you should go down the same route as me and perhaps this needs a GP conversation with you but what I will say is that I am much better with the pain and nausea from in my upper abdomen. One size doesn't fit all so to speak, but I would rather be this way than continue to suffer as I have no doubt you are too. Hoping this helps a little.
