Have been for my Ultra sound. The results show 3 polyps in my gallbladder , fatty liver and gas filled colon. My stomach at the moment seems to feel constantly sore and seem to have a nagging pain on lower right stomach
I have had blood test and showing inflammatory high markers and high GGT level - 350
I also have under active thyroid
My doctor has looked at the results and thinks the gallbladder polyps are causing the pain and high GGT. She has put me on 2 week pathway for further investigations . I am really anxious and wondering has anyone else had the same thing
Thanks xx

I had gallbladder polyps, had urgent surgery and liver enzymes went more or less back to normal, GGT still slightly raised. I also have hypothyroidism and raised liver results are fairly common for many of us.
Yes gallbladder removed. The polyps had shown on an ultrasound a year before so they monitored with further scans but then decided best to get it out as couldn’t be sure the polyps were benign. I wasn't getting any symptoms and my liver results had been high for many years. Unfortunately the surgery left me with bile acid malabsorption so I have to take binders but I’m fine now and can eat what I like, more or less.
I have poyps in my gallbladder they don't even mention them ? No investigations or anything ! I have chronic pancreatitus portol hypertension & ostophagus varacies . I had a near fatal bleed last year and have regular banding. Was 4 week it's now up to 12 week . I was a bit concerned when I saw my ct results with polyps on . However, I never mentioned and they haven't ! . Should I bring this up ?
Well I would be wanting their thoughts on the polyps. In my case things moved really fast, Gastro decided gallbladder needed to come out, saw the Surgeon and was booked in as urgent and had op a few weeks later and this was during lockdown.
However I now have a splenic aneurysm, splenic lesion and can I get anyone to take it seriously or even be that interested, nope 😡 how times have changed in the last year or so !
