Hi, my husband is waiting for a biopsy to check a lesion in his brain.
His neurosurgeon told us it seems like lymphoma from MRI scan image, which is common among people on immunosuppressant after organ transplant.
I have been feeling completely broken since he had emergency MRI two weeks ago.
Our world suddenly turned out upside down and lost all the colours.
I know I should be strong to support him, but I have had several panic attacks and severe anxiety.
Is there anyone who have had treatment for this? If you could share your experience, I would be grateful. All I find on the internet about this mutter seem desperate…

Sorry to hear of your husbands lymphoma. I wish you both well.I had a liver transplant in 2006 and in 2013 was diagnosed with Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder (PLTD). This is a non-Hodkinson B-cell type of lymphoma. The mass was in my abdomen and affected mostly my waterworks. Nonetheless, I thought that was my lot and that I would fade away. I can remember the oncologist saying he hoped to cure me. I was treated with the R-CHOP protocol over eight rounds. R-CHOP made me tired and sore from time to time but it wasn't terrible. My waterworks have a stent that needs replacing every six months but it's just a day case procedure. Lymphoma follow up was ended in 2019 as I was considered cured.
Obviously your husbands lesion is in a more delicate place and maybe a different variation but recovery from Lymphoma is possible. Hoping for a successful outcome for your husband.
It seems so unfair after all the worry going through a transplant to have traded it for a different worry. I will be thinking of you and hoping for the very best outcome. Keep the faith you can get through this (whatever it is) too.
