Hi Bantam

I hope you get the call soon. When you are post op on the ITU they like you to be in the hospital gown. It’s easier for them and probably you. When I moved onto the Ward, I stayed in a gown until the Cather and drains came out, though you probably could have your own nightie then. I’m pj’s all the way, so I was very comfortable in them and had both over the head and button up ones and tie waist were easier than elastic for me. 👍🙏

Hi. I would say definitely hospital gowns. I am 6 weeks post transplant. I would sometimes go through more than one gown a day. There is lots of potential for fluids of all sorts to leak. Best Wishes

I wore hospital gowns and nighties as bagpuss7 says there is lots of bodily fluids leaking and you may need several per day, saves having to send them home to be washed.Good luck

That’s great everyone. Thanks for messaging. I’ll just pack a couple of nighties in bag for hubby to bring when he needs to

Thanks all

Hospital nighties all the way for the reasons above. Also pack big comfy knickers a pair for each day as you are examined numerous times a day. Best of luck
