Frustration with appointments

The QE hospital at Birmingham asked for a follow up liver cancer scan this was arranged by my cirrhosis consultant, I had the scan on 1st April saw my cirrhosis consultant on 13th May happy with the cirrhosis and had forwarded the scan to QE for my telephone consultation on the 18th with QE. I also had telephoned the QE on the 14th April letting them know as they had told me to do this because it takes 2 days to format it on to their system. The appointment with QE I’ve had for 5 months the only one which had not been changed several times. Bang on time the doctor rang and asked how I was and then then the bombshell she hadn’t got the scan yet they had just asked for it to be sent over and somebody would ring me next Friday. Unbelievable the nhs can’t get a scan from Shropshire to Birmingham in time. With all the modern technology perhaps pigeon post might be the answer. The nhs doesn’t need more money just a half decent management. You can imagine my disappointment still waiting.
