Crushing pain just below the liver.Often caused by a stone being wedged in the 'throat' of the bladder. You can often get this to move by taking Buscopan and reducing fatty food intake. ( Bile is stored in the bladder and is required to digest the fat in food) .Buscopan can often reduce the 'pumping' action of the bladder and provide relief. You can also get this prescribed. Good luck.

BTW if the pain is a regular occurrence they can remove the bladder through keyhole. Your Consultant should provide advice here.
