Leg Muscle Pain

I have leg pains migrating from my ankle to my thigh especially on my right side. Pain killers ease the pain for a while but it keeps recurring. It's better at night though. If anyone out there has a similar

problem, please share your experiences and let me know if it got any better and how.

Pickle juice helps, mustard, magnesium spray and asked your doctor about you taking magnesium vitamin, if you already do, ask about increasing the mg.,

Hi, I experienced really bad muscle cramp after being inactive for a week due to Covid. It was so bad I couldn't walk more than about 100m without it starting. I had suffered on and off in the past but never to this degree, although I have always exercised. Up until my Cirrhosis diagnosis I had taken a daily Magnesium tablet so for some 6 months I had been off of them. I raised the problem with my GP who initiated blood tests the result of which was fine. I took the decision to start up the Magnesium again without discussing with a Consultant, simply as I haven't seen one seen diagnosis 7 months ago - though it's happening by video tomorrow - hopefully! I also upped my Banana intake (Potassium). I would suggest that you do discuss this with your GP based on the fact that my GP was keen to investigate. Mine has not troubled me for a month now. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the enlightening response! It's been quite helpful!

Hi,

It is really important to get clear clinical advice from your own doctor to investigate the cause of your leg pain.

We would suggest to only take treatment / medications that have been advised or prescribed by your own doctor.

I'm a bit late jumping into the conversation, I presume you no longer drink?I was a chronic alcoholic, and have ended up with neuropathy, now it only appeared after I stopped drinking, and it took 3 months for the symptoms to appear, they were different in many aspects at first, I had pain shooting from my foot into my knees like a red hot poker, muscle cramps, muscle twitching, and numbness in my feet, and now I've got constant pins and needles in my feet and its now in my hands, but I'm also struggling with B12 deficiency, so I don't think this helps matters, what I'm trying to say drinking damages nerve endings, especially if you've been a heavy drinker, sorry for the long post, hope you're getting the right treatment, best of luck
