Soy protein isolates

Hello, Can anyone help me decide what to believe. Last night I saw a program indicating that soy protein isolate causes fatty liver . I have NASH cirrhosis and have been really careful to turn things around losing weight exercise etc. Occasionally I treat myself to a protein bar twice a week , thought I was being healthy ish but now realise they are mostly made of soy protein which I thought was good for me . I did a google search and came up with this which actually seems to suggest the opposite, so you should be ok with your bars!

Hi Thank you for that info. It was just that I saw something that said the opposite, I’ll continue to enjoy them . Pat

I think for every thing that says something is good you'll get another thing that says it isn't. Bit like political parties really, lol.

If I may ask..why did you think soy automatically = the healthier choice for protein?
