Swelling of scrotum

My husbands scrotum seems to swell more of an evening , should I be worried . Also his legs seem to be a little harder but no indentations . Recent endoscopy shows no sign of cancer and varices and recent ecg and echo was fine. Seen the liver specialist last Thursday and said little ascites left in his abdomen but of no concern. Gp had already taken him off spiro and fursemide but to said to start them again if concerned ( see my previous post) what shall I do ? And if we were to start it again, how long would he take them for x

Hi I'm new here I've just been diagnosed with decompensated liver so still researching stuff myself but my scrotum ( one side ) started swelling now and again mainly at night or when in Bath basically when warm ( but does happen when cold too sometimes ) I got it checked and it turns out to be called hydrocelle not saying this is what your husband has but it could be? best bet is to have it checked either way hope this helps

Hi , I just think it has something to do with the liver as it swelled to the size of a cantaloupe the first and only time up to now ( a few weeks ago) that he had ascites . I’m so no worried that this is a set back

I also have ascites maybe it's connected I genuinely don't jnow but I would definitely get it checked either way better safe than sorry however my specialist did say that ( in my case ) the liver wouldn't make them swell even with the portal vien again best to get checked hope all is well

This happened to my hubby he thought he had a hernia but turned out its ascites the dr said theres a small passage into scrotum and the fluid from his abdomen was leaking into scrotum if I could have taken I picture I would it was huge like a melon he was in agony it was drained its now back to normal size after taking antibiotics as it was infected after draining he still has fluid on his abdomen but is on spironolactone to help rid it 🙄

Yes my hubbys was huge too and he was put on a drip to get rid of it as it was mainly his legs and scrotum and a little in his abdomen , this was a few weeks ago and I’m really hoping it’s not a step back after getting good news on his endoscopy and heart tests
