Has any one experienced trigger / worsening of psoriasis caused by carvedilol?

Hi everyone. I am diagnosed with Non Cirrhotic Portal Hypertension with Esophageal Varices. Along with EVL, the doctors have put me on beta blockers (Carvedilol). I am on this medicine for last three years. Since last 5 months my Psoriasis, which was in remission for many years, has gone in flare. Has some one had similar experience with Carvedilol?

It is more likely your condition that is affecting your skin rather than the Carvedilol which you must keep taking for your portal hypertension. Can your doctor recommend alternative creams/treatments?

I have ALD (Alcoholic Liver Disease), portal vein hypertension and had gastric varices treated 4 years ago. Also had Carvedilol (12.5 mg/day) prescribed. I have had occasional bouts of eczema and psoriasis since long before taking Carvedilol and I have had no increase in skin problems since I started taking it.Hope this helps.
