My husband has had really bad psoriasis for 30 years but since he was diagnosed with cirrhosis last year it's been much better (he stopped drinking). Now the psoriasis is very red and sore on one lower leg and I'm concerned it might be peripheral neuropathy or something else that's serious. Any ideas? He's reluctant to see the doctor but I think he should asap.

According to the following, there is a connection. I agree with you, seeing the doctor is a good idea. If the skin breaks and does not heal, there is a chance for infection, which can be very serious.
Check w/MD ASAP to rule out cellulitis. Again, ASAP
