My mother is taking treatment for liver cirrhosis and Portal Vein Thrombosis for the past 2 years, she is doing well, her LFT, AFP tests are normal.
As per the latest surveillance CT scan the impression " Small Arterially Enchancing Lesion in left lobe of liver with No washout - like LIRADS 3 p/o dysplastic nodule - Suggested follow-up imaging"
Our doctor told to do a follow-up MRI next month , currently its not a HCC and will decide based on the next scan results.
We are very worried, Anyone who has faced the same results, can you please share your experiences, i am hoping we will get the result as "Benign Category" in next scan

I can see from previous posts that your mother has had scans before which have shown multiple tiny lesions. The important thing about any abnormalities in the liver is that they are monitored and it looks like this has been happening with your mother. When lesions are small it is quite difficult for radiologists to determine exactly what they are, an MRI scan will hopefully help in this respect but it may be that the outcome is that they just keep an eye on whether the lesion changes in any way.
Many thanks for your hopeful words. In 2018 in ultrasound it showed multiple tiny lesion so went for CT it showed only one lesion 0.7mm and it got cleared in a month. Now on October 18 we went for ultrasound, the impression is 1.7x1.4cm hypoechoic lesion in left lobe of liver, again went for CT on 20 oct, it showed a dysplastic nodule with no washout measuring 1.4x1.2cm. Waiting for next MRI scan in the coming month. Hoping for a good results
