We do ask in our forum rules that members do not post test results asking for interpretation, no one is medically qualified to safely advise you.

Thanks for reply. Can I ask a different question?

What is a considered a dagerously high serum gamma GtT level? Also What is considered a dangerously high high Serum alkaline phosphotase level? Thank you!

Hi,

Reported reference ranges can vary between laboratories so we would suggest to direct this question to your own doctors who can advise.

Thanks for the trouble you have taken, I have an appt. with gp on 15th Oct. so no doubt she will clarify. I'm feeling alright anyway...just was surprised to have some abnormal liver results for the first time ever (and I'm 82)

It may be a good idea to request a re-check of the liver bloods with the GP and if they remain outside of the normal reported reference range discuss additional tests such as an ultrasound scan.Good luck and keep us posted :)

Tests have to be repeated in 3 months when I have finished a course of vit. D Don't know what vit D has to do with liver but I have been given an 8 week supply on a script so will take anyway!
