Don't like feeling as if I'm telling tales but 19 hours ago (posted on todays list of Questions ) amember aked about her raised Alt and got some answers Just curious as to why that was not consiered inappropriate
Thanks. No admin from the Liver Trust have responded to that post yet which was 20 hours ago. We also manage the helpline so responses can take a little times as there are just two of us. working UK wide.We will reiterate the rules to this member too.
Thanks for the trouble you have taken, I have an appt. with gp on 15th Oct. so no doubt she will clarify. I'm feeling alright anyway...just was surprised to have some abnormal liver results for the first time ever (and I'm 82)
It may be a good idea to request a re-check of the liver bloods with the GP and if they remain outside of the normal reported reference range discuss additional tests such as an ultrasound scan.Good luck and keep us posted
Tests have to be repeated in 3 months when I have finished a course of vit. D Don't know what vit D has to do with liver but I have been given an 8 week supply on a script so will take anyway!
