Amazing update 9 months on

Start of the year after getting tinnitus - that led to blood tests and general checks which found (unrelated) issues with my liver and a fibroscan score of 21 (cant mind the exact score now but early 20's)

So obese - morbidly obese. Awful diet of takeaways and zero exercise.

9 months on and almost 6 stone lighter - also gave up dairy/red meat/processed foods/alcohol and plant based diet also lots of fresh fish and veg...........and also bought a bike. I took up walking and progressed to hill walking and now swim 5 miles a week. Also took up yoga.

Today my fibro scan score was 5.2 and bloods all normal. My appointment was on the 7th floor and last time I was out of breath just walking from the lift to the waiting room. Today I ran up those 7 flights in my size 14 jogging bottoms - used to be a size 26.

My consultant is absolutely delighted and told me to go and live my life - keep doing what I am doing (still got weight to lose)

Fear is the best motivator for losing weight! I am 51 but felt like I was so much older - now I feel great!
