Hi so my partner is gradually getting his strength back and consultant was happy with things. Over the last few days his boobs have started to swell and tender to touch. Should I be worried?.

Hello! This is a common side affect of some of the diuretics. My husband is on Spironolactone and suffers with it. Its worth mentioning to your Drs. I know some people have the meds changed, but my husband has chosen to grin and bare it since he has ascites and doesnt want to risk changing a med that works for him.

Xx

Thank you for this. He is on spiro too. Also with ascites which has greatly improved so will mention it to Dr but think he will stay on them .
