I received my second Covid shot and experienced fever, chills, headache and exhaustion. Nine days after I got the second vaccine dose I had a blood test. My ALT was 4 points higher than the upper limits of normal. Wondering if my liver could have been inflamed by the body’s natural reaction to a viral infection. Has anyone else seen a correlation?

4 points higher than normal is nothing, your ALT can fluctuate every hour of the day and it can be inflated by a bit of exercise or anything or a minor sniffle so it's nothing at all to be worried about.
Unlike most vaccines covid one does not inject a small amount of the virus so you did not get a viral infection if you had the astra zenica injection the feelings you had are normal with the way it works should only last a few days

I don’t know if anybody knows! This virus and vax are so strange! I had Covid- had weird symptoms but not that bad, my old roommate who’s also my age (23 now) had liver and kidney failure. I had the J&J vax- absolutely miserable, and have had a sketchy sense of smell since (6weeks). I imagine a 4 pt blip would be well within the world of possibilities, but as Katie said, that’s really not much, assuming it’s only 4 pts above a normal, within normal baseline.
Hi! I had covid a year ago in October 2020. Since then my AST and ALT are slightly elevated, around 40-50. I underwent other tests: ultrasounds, fibroscans, no damaged found. The doctors keep saying that they don’t know why the enzymes are elevated and that my liver is ok. I changed my eating habits anyway and I’m eating super healthy for about 9 months. Yet the effect on enzymes is zero.
