Hello everyone. I've gone from nearly 13kpa and 330 cap indicating grade 3 fatty liver ( the highest). Down to 4.6kpa and cap 168. (now normal). In just under 2 years. I managed to talk with my consulant and he's happy to dis - charge me in near future. Making what I thought and was told by many highly unlikely, to turn out to be possible. So happy now than 2 years back 😁

It's a time thing. Have to keep focused and let the liver recover from repeated alcohol abuse. Thank you also 😁😁

On another page, Chris999 said this about his diet and exercise:

Was in December. Liver nurse was very unhelpful. I turned my attention to eating lots of healthy foods. Especially anti inflammatory foods. Turmeric one of them. Drank lots of water, exercised 3 to 4 times a week. Lost over a stone in weight. My consultant was very impressed, he noted it as remarkable".

While it's not specified as to which anti-inflammatory foods he ate other than tumeric, it's safe to guess that he's talking about plenty of vegetables and fruit (especially low sugar fruit such as apples). Maybe he's also talking about fish such as salmon. Chris999 will be able to give us more specifics.

Note that he drank lots of water. That helps with inflammation also, although if someone already has acites, their doctor may not want them to overdo the fluids.

Google anti imflammatery foods. Cut fats n sugars. Your body heals. Just like u cut yourself it heals. Takes time tho. Losing weight means fat reduces. So getting to a good lean weight can help loads. Basically clean up the diet. Consume good stuff. Avoid the bad stuff. Give yourself days off tho. Have treat days. Then switch back to the healthy eating. Keep toxins out. Drinking n smoking is toxic. Best wishes

Thank you for sharing this, it was great to read, well uddy done!

It may be better than normal, I was told by a consultant that they are looking at possibly raising the abnormal cap to around 240, not sure if that is true, maybe just a throw away given mine were over that. I too managed to get my CAP down from 335, but unfortunately by fib score did not come down, go figure,
