First post year. Looking for some advise/reassurance really. I’ve been experiencing some central abdominal pain for the last few months, not constant, comes on suddenly like a stabbing pain and then aches for a few hours and subsides. The pain is between the bottom on my ribs and my belly button. I feel a fullness in this area. I’ve been to the GP who examined my stomach and commented on the fullness but didn’t explain further. Awaiting a abdominal ultrasound. I’ve had bloods taken- all normal so far. I’m just worried as to what it could be. Anyone had anything similar?

Stomach pain
I can’t read the reply. My app is playing up. I think you are asking about the fullness. In the area described between the bottom ribs and belly button I feel uncomfortable, like there is something there that shouldn’t be. I have a slight bulge which initially I thought was a fat pouch, I had put on a little weight over lockdown but I am not a big person, weight 8stone 10. My GP examined my stomach and asked about bowels etc as my stomach felt full. My bowels have been moving fine, no change. My LFT bloods were all normal and I am awaiting an amylase check. I’m hoping that it’s nothing but I’m a worrier and at the minute it’s all I’m thinking about. Thanks for the reply
