Sever back pain

Hi all! Just wondered how bad back pain can be from luver disease? As you may already know, I lost my sister at the beginning of lockdown and for 6 months before that, she was bedridden wth a " trapped nerve" in her back, and was put on Cocodamol. I actually think it was alcoholic neuropathy. My young sister is having back pain at the moment whilst waiting for an appointment to see a liver specialist, and with the current climate God knows when that will be. We didn't know what we were dealing with, with my sister who passed, but I feel we need to know now to help my younger sister. Thanks for any input.

Can your sister see the GP again and explain how her pain is affecting her? They may be able to order some medical tests prior to seeing the specialist?
