Hello James

Sadly erectile dysfunction can be quite common for some post-transplant patients. Because this is a condition that is now caused due to the transplant, this qualifies the person to be able to receive Viagra on prescription from your GP.

It would be advisable to seek guidance from your GP before taking these tablets, especially if someone is already taking Asprin (for blood thinning) and also blood pressure medication.

These tablets can cause giddiness in some people.

Good luck

Richard

Hi James,

Please contact your own doctors to get safe advice regarding your medication query, It is very important that your doctors have access to your full medical history when advising/ prescribing.

Best wishes.

Hello, I can only tell you what happened to me, I had a transplant in France in 2014 ten weeks ago I was admitted to intensive care for a ruptured small intestine, due to blood clots, well after a quick vacuum and bleached out and another skar I am recovering, I emailed my sergeon in France, he advised me to stop taking Viagra, and a testosterone treatment, I now take 6mg daily of warfarin, every patient is different, hope this helped
