Ultrasound of Liver . ? PBC

I had a raised marker for PBC in a blood test , despite having all my LFT show as normal.

My gp thought it could be auto immune related as I have other conditions. I had an ultrasound yesterday and the radiologist said that my liver looked completely normal so that was a huge relief. Have made a follow up appointment with my gp and now wondering if I have lupus as many other symptoms I have point to this . Can lupus show a raised marker on blood tests ?

Hi. I have very high Anti-mitochondrial antibodies. My us showed My liver is enlarged but I have normal liver function tests like yourself. I was discharged and told everything ok 😬 (this is besides two previous consultants saying I had Pbc). If your Gp is looking after you and keeping an eye on things then that’s great. Mine don’t really care lol. Good luck. It’s a worrying time :-(
