I had one 31 years ago, on list now but its never stopped me doing anything , i was 20, somebody lost their life for us to live, live life , enjoy xx
R U back on list 4 another transplant if so what's happened?
Just scarring on liver , 31 years i would not have had though, technolgy and medicine has come so far now to back then .
Ok
I live a normal life and have done the last 7 yrs.
I eat what foods i like, i drink beer, i work full time and have done throughout the lockdown earlier this year.
We were given another chance at life but theres no way im going to hide away in fear of everything. Just be careful and take precautions
Thanks for your reply it's nice to know you are doing fine your probably a lot younger than me im isolating have been since the start of covid all i do is go for a little walk my consultant keeps intough by phone so far there's been no problems but i have got a twing along the scar line without my lovely doner i don't think i would be writing this I had PBC for a long time and was going down hill quickly and if my GP hadn't referred me to QE well i don't know take Care & be safe pat
Thank you for sharing your stories. Its both encouraging and scary at the same time... I wish you all the best... will you need another transplant or is everything okay?? Are you still diagnosed with PBC even after surgery? I assumed after operation everything was fine an no longer have health problems

Thank you darling I appreciate your kind n thoughtful words. I can’t imagine how hard it is, An how your feeling about someone losing a life to save another... But I’m sure the most of us would all like to save a life if we could... it’s a gracious n generous blessing, it’s absolutely amazing to continue blessing others after passing...leaving the world as you lived it... you deserve to enjoy your life and be happy I’m sure your donner would like you to enjoy it... to encourage an share your beautiful story...
Thank you I’d like to talk to you more. Life is very different now... I would like to talk to others who share the same struggle... my family don’t really understand and I feel pressured all the time... just because we don’t look sick PBC don’t really effect appearances.... others believe your fine and to get on with everything... not realising the pain n discomfort we endure daily
