I had liver transplant December 19, can anyone tell me if they have multiple bowel movements per day

It could be a side effect of the medication post TP? Not had that problem particularly, but have noticed after certain foods I've had lower abdo cramps, and loose stools (sorry for tmi), but I probably had that before??

Bowel movements for me were relatively frequent, but i wouldn't say multiple per day. Its something very much worth raising with your team at your next clinic though. Its probably not something too concerning but they should be made aware so they can check it out. It may just be a case of anending your meds a bit.

Yes although it stopped after I stopped taking mycophenolate . Did you have your gall bladder removed during the transplant ? That can take a while for your digestive system to get used to .

I believe all gallbladders are removed and your quite right regards your digestive system
