Dear Friends,
Hope you are all keeping safe in such testing times.
In 2016 I had hep A and ended up in hospital with an inr if 2.2 and a fibroscan of 7.7 before it resolved. I was a heavy drinker. I completely recovered over the next few months and fibro scans returned to under 5 kpa and and my lfts have never been off since except when starting xplended for a brief period and having dengue. My bloods at the moment are perfect and my ultra sound also is ok except a mild fatty liver (I am off alcohol now and that im sure will resolve)
However, my ANA is positive 1:80 speckled and asma also shows positive, Ama is negative.
My doctor says nothing to worry about for now as all other bloods and lfts are ok. However I can't help worrying till my next appointment.
My question would be to those with experience that is it possible to have a positive asma and ana without autominune disease? And if I have something like auto immune hep or pbc how long will it be before my bloods are deranged or I have symptoms?
Many thanks in advance.
Ps: these tests were done because of a gut feeling there is something wrong. I know this is not a forum for diagnosis but any information would be appreciated.
