Good morning wonderful people. I hope you are all coping during these uncertain and scary times.
Predictably any non emergency appointments have been cancelled and that I understand.
However for my I was nearing what was looking like the final scope to install the last of my varices bands. As this has now been cancelled and no new appointments in sight I’m worried in case I have another bleed from a vein that I know might have been picked up as part of my ongoing procedures.
Knowing that these bleeds can be serious and potentially fatal I’m reaching out to see what extra measures I can take to help prevent another bleed.
My GP and consultant aren’t taking standard query calls otherwise I’d usually just pick up the phone.
I still haven’t touched a drop of alcohol and don’t plan to which hopefully is the main way I can prevent another bleed but I thought I’d reach out to the forum for some advice, and a bit of a moan
In other news, with this pandemic in full swing and mobile networks slightly flaky I’ve had to converse with the wife - I was somewhat surprised to learn she no longer works at Woolworths
Peace!!
