Just seeking feedback from those who have had a number of Fibroscans (or certainly more than one) and the time lapse in between?
I self-funded a fibroscan last November which identified F1/F2 fibrosis (kPa 7.9) and I’m wondering how long to wait until I re-test. LFT bloods have all been within normal range.
For those who had a worrying result with their first Fibroscan, was there much improvement on the subsequent scans (assuming lifestyle changes were made).
Thank you in advance for your response and support.

Good afternoon sjbreiki,
I am sure our forum members will be along to share their experiences.
Fibroscan can indeed improve with positive, sustainable lifestyle changes - reduced alcohol consumption, improved diet and increased exercise.
This is also the best thing to do for long term liver health.
Within the NHS, a Fibroscan tends to be an annual test and from a long term perspective , as opposed to 'quick fix' changes this would seem reasonable. You may notice changes earlier than that on Fibroscan but a year gives you the incentive to make the sustainable change .
