Anyone post managed to get holiday insurance after rejection, we tried a few times but because of rejection, no chance!

He had rejection soon after transplant, upped his meds and it corrected

Oh gosh - and that affected insurance? Never heard of that in the insurance companies I’ve used, i.e. no questions along those lines. 😕

Because it is liver transplant, the question comes up, ever had rejection. Whenever I put yes, they can’t deal with me!

It does appear to be a question when you fill out the medical declaration. They ask about rejection and any overnight hospital stays after the transplant. If you are going to Europe the E1-11 will still provide emergency cover. Fortunately I have not had any issues and was able to get cover.

I had never heard of this at all, I use euro tunnel for insurance and their health insurance just asks if you are fit to drive they will cover you.

The only other question that stopped me was being in hospital for the transplant and had to wait 6 months. No insurance companies ask any more

May be worth shopping around and answer the questions they ask, on-line seems to be less strict.
