Say no to supplements

I have seen many in the forum advocating milk thistle,NAC,Alpha lipoic acid etc to reverse or cure their liver disease .But in my view these all may cause further damage and still there are no proper evidence of using these herbs and supplements .I n my view Diet consisting of fish ,lean chicken, millets ,whole oats and with generous amount of olive oil and modest amount of aerobics can be beneficial for the liver .

You are absolutely right. A fatty liver does not need suppliments to heal, they cause more harm than good. Junk food and booze needs to stop being chucked at it. Instead it needs a healthy diet , plenty of water and excercise to help it recover and give it time.
