Please help, could you tell me which bits are safe to take. I have Zilch energy at moment after a throat virus very much appreciated I take azathrioprine 50mg n Pred 5mg

It is just going to take time to get over your virus. See your GP or ask advice off your own medical team. With AIH you need to be particularly careful about over the counter, vitamins, supplements etc. because the last thing you need is anything that will boost your immune system and probably no o.t.c. stuff is going to give you much more energy.

Thankyou, I did actually think I’m not sure whether I should be going to buy any otc supplements, my drs are not familiar with A.I.H at all, although I don’t see my consultant for another 6 months, I’m going to carry on eating very healthily cutting down on sugar etc, I will allow myself a bit more time to feel better, I am actually due to have my usual blood test tomorrow too, I’m going to see how things go, and take it from there,
