Yipeee! CT Scan of Thorax Abdomen and Pelvis with Contrast tomorrow night !

Hi All

Well the day is almost here and my 3rd CT scan is happening at 6.40pm tomorrow!

Like most of us know its then the long wait for results and mine is to be on 7th of January when I see my consultant again. However there was talk of a Liver biopsy and I'm not sure when this procedure is to happen, could it be before or after I've seen my consultant ?

Oh brief update on my sky diving funding raising front ! I've now hit an amazing figure with gift aid and the £50 cheque from the lovely Welsh couple £1861.16 ! So thank you to those who have donated !

Wow, that is both a late hour to have one [although I did have an MRI around that time of nite which surprised me] and a very long wait to hear your results, at least it would be for us in the US. I would imagine the CT scan would be helpful for your doctor - maybe he will be using it to decide on a whether to do a biopsy or not, so I hope it goes whatever way you would prefer.

Cheers for message! Like you I've already undergone through loads of tests, MRI CT, fibroscan and numerous ultrasounds. Camera up and and camera down too🤣🤣. Certain things did come to light which have been treated but my consultant is still investigating as to why my bloods and symptoms keep flaring up from out of the blue! There have been numerous suggestions from my consultant , GP and Nursing specialist that at one point I could possibly have PBC or Sarcoid but I'm not sure anymore! It's now wait and see game!

You maybe right on my consultant waiting for CT Scan results before making that final decision on whether the biopsy is necessary! However I will get to know if existing my small growths in both lungs have changed plus I have numerous cysts in both kidneys, so I'll

get to hear if they've grown or not sonits all worth while.

Well, dang it!

I would say I'd remember this for next time - but I'd be lying.

I'm lucky I can remember there is an ocean between us and heaven forbid if you ask me which ocean -I don't know why it is harder for me to remember that now that we moved to Minnesota - I think [I'm pretty sure??] I remembered it was the Atlantic when I lived in Maine - strangely I think it was because we saw lots of Canadian license plates there. And I can't explain why the two are connected in my head - just don't ever ask my husband as he just gives me the look & sighs when ever geography comes up.

Miles, I think you're related to my hubby, he can also be a pedantic PITA - so I'm used to it and only get irritated when it is him or the kids LOL.

Hubby is doing fairly well - had his 2nd treatment of chemo last wednesday and his next this coming wed -the day I, hopefully, get rid of my poo pouch. We'll drive in together & he'll sit with me for a while then off to get his chemo [hopefully his bloods will be good] then down the hall & another hall & then the elevator & then ? and be with me a while & then either have Turkey as it is on Thanksgiving or head home in the alleged snow. Our youngest will be having Thanksgiving with his brother & family, they came down yesterday & brought turkey day to celebrate it & hubby's birthday at the same time LOL. His wife is now expecting their 3rd girl come May.

Trish hopefully it won’t be too long for the biopsy. I think this should have been done a long time ago, I can’t understand why they’ve been dragging their heels to do it.

Skydive D day is almost upon you now. My god missus, you’re the bravest little dynamo I know! Well done on the amount you’ve raised, that’s a fantastic amount. I’m so proud to be your friend my lovely.

The waiting for results is always the worst part.

At least with my gastroscopy on the 16th Dec, I'll get the results there and then.....I should bloody well think so.....it's the least they can do for all that discomfort😁😁😁. Hope I don't swallow the mouth gag🤣🤣🤣
